Black Widow (Natalia Alianovna Romanova) - Marvel Comics
Marvel comics - Stan Lee, Dan Rico and Don Heck

Natalia (Natasha) Alianovna Romanova, otherwise known as the Black Widow, is a Soviet Super
Spy. She is a master of martial arts, a weapons expert and a trained assassin. She is
strong, beautiful and incredibly deadly. I have always loved Black Widow Natalia she
kicks ass and takes names! I was so so so excited to get to make this costume, and
I had a lot of fun running around in it (especially when I had my gun!)
I was so so so happy with how this body suit came out right after I had finished it. I spent
a great deal of time with my friend Cait hunting down the perfect fabric. I really didn't
want to use PCV, I always find it looks rather trash, so we were hunting for
something PVC looking but a little more rich. After I got what I thought was the
perfect fabric I got to drafting the body suit, I am rather pleased with what I drafted. This body
suit was originally supposed to be used for three different costumes, but after my first time
wearing this I realised my perfect fabric looks horrible when photographed with a flash! I had
done some test shots before with my camera and not had a problem, but it seems my flash
was not as accurate a representation of what actually pictures from con would look like. So
this particular body suit will only be used for Black Widow. I put the costume on for one
other convention only, and that was because I knew I would get to shoot some non flash
photos while I was there ^^ I will however be ripping this body suit apart to make a
pattern for a new one! So this costume will certainly live again! As usual costume,
accessories, make-up and wig (except for the wig in the first two shots, that is a wig I
borrowed and slightly styled) are all by me.
