Mistress 9 is the Messiah of Silence who poses Hotaru's body. She is strong, fierce and
deadly. Her sole purpose in existing is to open a gateway to allow Pharaoh 09 to take
over the world. Mistress 9 was a seed placed in Hotaru's body by her father Dr Tomoe
and awakened by the Death Busters.
This costume was quite simple to make, and though I do love love love the character I
mainly picked it because I had everything for it! The wig is for an upcoming costume
for this summer, the blue fabric I've had as a remnant for years now and the white for
the skirt was left over fabric from one of the Aerith costumes I've made. I noticed after
buying all the beads I could find (that matched the beads I had) in my city I realised
she has three strings in the manga (which is what I was basing the costume on) as
opposed to the two strings she has in the anime. One thing I will say for sure though
I love my earrings a lot! One more thing I noticed about this costume after getting the
pictures is it is oddly not fitted looking for a fitted costume! The top makes me look
HUGE! So yeah... Top looks very very odd... that is all..... XD
