was a stage illusionist prior to discovering her actual magical abilities. A member of
the Justice League Zatanna first appeared in Hawkman and has since appeared in
various other DC titles including Batman and Green Lantern. Zatanna is powerful,
intelligent and beautiful and has always been a character I've really enjoyed!
p.s. I can't wait for the new Paul Dini and Stephane Roux comic coming in May!
This costume was basically made in two days.. I thought I was WAY ahead of
schedule on Monday. I had everything drafted and cut out, then I realised after
actually sewing the shirt together that I had massively messed up the sizing of
things. The shirt worked, but it was way way way smaller than I wanted it to be.
After that I spent days trying to fix my mistakes, and basically ended up doing all
my actual sewing on Thursday and Friday. I was also attempting to make my own
hat... but given the tiny amount of time I left myself that just didn't happen. All
and all though I am very very happy with how this costume turned out!
